Jog for Dogs Benefit Poster

Created November 2020

This piece was created as a part of a group project between myself and my classmate, Taylor Biese. Taylor did the part of creating the basic outline of what this poster would look like, and I created the design based off of her outline. The end result between our collaboration is a piece that is both simple and nice to look at. I chose to go with a pastel palette based off of Taylor's original color scheme, resulting in a very calm and inviting looking design. The enlarged letters of the event name "Jog for Dogs" creates a very obvious sense of visual hierarchy, and the added drop shadow to the page elements add an additional sense of contrast, especially evident with the dogs forms being more well defined against the multicolored background.
