This piece was created for a friend of mine's collaboration piece he was conducting. For my part of the project, I chose to go with a dynamic design that showed off the energy and personality of the character I was drawing. The pose and slight lean of the character helped to convey motion, and made the piece a lot more dynamic. In addition, the dark background with the textured middle circle helped both frame the subject, and allow for contrast. The lights of the magic effects from Ludwig's wand especially pop out from the pure black of the background.
